Honeywell HD72HD4 4MP HQA WDR IR Mini Dome Camera
The Honeywell HD72HD4 is a compact, high-performance dome camera designed to upgrade traditional analog CCTV systems to 4 Megapixel Full HD clarity using Honeywell’s HQA (High Quality Analog) technology. It allows high-definition video transmission over existing coaxial cables, eliminating the need for expensive IP system re-cabling. The camera captures 2560 × 1440 resolution at 15 fps or 1080p at 30 fps, delivering sharper images and improved detail for indoor or outdoor surveillance.
Lens and Coverage
Featuring a 2.8 mm fixed lens, the HD72HD4 provides a wide horizontal field of view of approximately 79°, making it suitable for general monitoring of rooms, entrances, or open areas.
Durability and Outdoor Use
Housed in a rugged, die-cast aluminum dome, the camera is IP66-rated for dust and water resistance and IK10-rated for vandal protection, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments.
Low-Light Performance and WDR
The camera is equipped with 12 IR LEDs and Smart IR technology, providing clear black-and-white night vision up to 30 meters (100 ft) while preventing overexposure of nearby objects. It also features 120 dB True WDR, correcting high-contrast lighting conditions to ensure visible details in both bright and shadowed areas. A True Day/Night ICR mechanism ensures vivid color images in daylight and sharp monochrome images at night.
Installation and Compatibility
The HD72HD4 operates on 12 V DC and is plug-and-play compatible with Honeywell HRHT Performance Series HQA DVRs, simplifying setup.
It offers dual video output—both HQA (HD Analog) and traditional CVBS (standard analog)—ensuring seamless integration with a variety of existing recording systems.
